Sierra Lona vs Joaquin Rosal

Boxing Daily Report from the Darbenyan Promotions promoted show at Bawuah Gym, Acapulco,  taking place on 24/03/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico-Guerrero Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sierra Lona (16 - 9 - 2) who hails from Acapulco, Mexico and Joaquin Rosal(9 - 1) from Acapulco, Mexico.  Lona weighed in at 114 pounds and 2 ounces, while Rosal weighed in at 114 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Gracia, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Verduzco, Carlos Sancho and Alejandro Rayos.  

Round 1: 

Rosal lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Rosal steps inside and connects with a sharp left uppercut.  Rosal ties up his opponent.  Rosal is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Rosal about fouling.

Lona is looking to keep his distance and tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Lona throws a right hook, but Rosal clinches his opponent.  Rosal leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Rosal tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Lona behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Rosal about fouling.

That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Lona.  That has caused bad swelling  around the left eye.
