Juan Chavez vs Joaquin Espinal

Boxing Daily Report from the Mashaba Promotions promoted show at Gervasio Cortes Gym, Managua,  taking place on 27/03/2031:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nicaragua-Managua Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Chavez (12 - 9 - 1) who hails from Managua, Nicaragua and Joaquin Espinal(10 - 3 - 1) from Managua, Nicaragua.  Both Chavez and Espinal weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Antonio Quintero, and the three ringside judges are Zacarias Balan, Gig Rave and Salvador Alban.  

Round 1: 

Espinal steps inside.  As Chavez tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Espinal has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
