Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Staples Center, Los Angeles,  taking place on 22/05/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ollie Ox Maddox (37(23) - 1(1)) who hails from San Bernardino, USA and Joaquin Janota(21(2) - 6(3)) from Porto Alegre, Brazil.  Maddox weighed in at 135 pounds, while Janota weighed in at 134 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is John Dickie, and the three ringside judges are Alastair Hankin, Malcolm Waldie and Robert Rendall.
