Marjun Batongmalaque vs Carlos Verdejo

Boxing Daily Report from the Batangas Gym promoted show at Quinto Lama Gym, Batangas City,  taking place on 29/03/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Batangas Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Marjun Batongmalaque (22 - 4 - 2) who hails from Batangas City, Philippines and Carlos Verdejo(4 - 0) from Lipa, Philippines.  Batongmalaque weighed in at 159 pounds and 10 ounces, while Verdejo weighed in at 159 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Diego Dacuno, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Lumala, Rob Dungo and Xavion Chapa.  

Round 1:
