Alik Shipulin vs Luka Petrov

Boxing Daily Report from the Bonsam Promotions promoted show at Nizhnekamsk Lukashin, Nizhnekamsk,  taking place on 28/03/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Russia-Tatarstan Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alik Shipulin (15 - 16(1) - 3) who hails from Naberezhnye Chelny, Russia and Luka Petrov(13(6) - 0) from Naberezhnye Chelny, Russia.  Shipulin weighed in at 159 pounds and 7 ounces, while Petrov weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Andrii Chistovich, and the three ringside judges are Georgiy Lodigin, Marlen Bryzgalov and Timofei Kozel.  

Round 1: 

Petrov steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Petrov holds on to his opponent.  Shipulin pushes his forearm into Petrov's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Shipulin.

Petrov tries to step out of his opponents range and snaps his opponents head back with a ramrod jab.  
Petrov advances into close range and throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Petrov clinches his opponent.  Petrov leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.

Petrov leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Petrov lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Petrov clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Petrov pushes his forearm into Shipulin's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Petrov about fouling.
