Jake Persley vs Mark Verkko

Boxing Daily Report from the Kronk Gym II promoted show at Rick Gym, Detroit,  taking place on 02/03/2031:

Clearly Kronk Gym II have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Michigan Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jake Persley (10 - 16 - 4) who hails from Detroit, USA and Mark Verkko(6 - 5 - 2) from Detroit, USA.  Persley weighed in at 118 pounds and 15 ounces, while Verkko weighed in at 117 pounds and 11 ounces.    As Persley came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Jonathan Bees, and the three ringside judges are Floyd Solinski, John Kennan and Mick Wathen.
