Asavela Motupa vs Eric Sangweni

Boxing Daily Report from the Assegai Combat promoted show at Arthur Ashe Tennis Centre, Soweto,  taking place on 21/04/2031:

Clearly Assegai Combat have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Gauteng Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Asavela Motupa (18 - 10(1) - 2) who hails from Pretoria, South Africa and Eric Sangweni(23(4) - 4(3)) from Mamelodi, South Africa.  Both Motupa and Sangweni weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Luvolwethu Motupa, and the three ringside judges are Tlou Nqakula, Phumelele Mkhize and Nwa Ntuli.  

Round 1: 

Motupa steps to the outside and is on target with a jab.
