Canon Dacourt vs Sean Blain

Boxing Daily Report from the Forficula Promotion promoted show at McKenzie Sports Club, Linden,  taking place on 07/04/2031:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NCN, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Canon Dacourt (2 - 6 - 4) who hails from Croix des Bouqets, Haiti and Sean Blain(5(1) - 6) from Georgetown, Guyana.  Both Dacourt and Blain weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Binner, and the three ringside judges are Richie Handyside, David Pryce and Jay Wemyss.  

Round 1: 

Blain steps inside and digs in a right hook to Dacourt's ribs.  
Blain wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Dacourt dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Blain lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Blain pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Blain gets on the inside and manouvers Dacourt into the red corner.  Blain pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Blain pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Blain pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to Dacourt's body.  
Blain is looking to close the distance.  Blain pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Blain pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Blain quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Blain drives a right uppercut into Dacourt's body.  
Dacourt tries to step out of his opponents range and throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Blain forces Dacourt to back into a neutral corner.  Blain is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Blain.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Blain advances into close range.  Blain pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Blain pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a stinging left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Dacourt's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Dacourt's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Dacourt's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Dacourt's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.
