Syed Khalil vs Joey Edington

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Marlins Park, Miami,  taking place on 03/05/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the North American Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Syed The Frisco Kid Khalil (39(30) - 7(3) - 1) who hails from San Francisco, USA and Joey Edington(11(2) - 1(1)) from Rancho Cucamonga, USA.  Both Khalil and Edington weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joshua Vara, and the three ringside judges are Mark Briden, Oleos Infante and Robert Keys.
