Faton Tahiri vs Telephus Bytygi

Boxing Daily Report from the VanDerAllen Promotions promoted show at Farie Hoti Sports Palace, Tirana,  taking place on 18/04/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Faton Tahiri (7(3) - 0) who hails from Tirana, Albania and Telephus Bytygi(4 - 4(1)) from Tirana, Albania.  Tahiri weighed in at 147 pounds, while Bytygi weighed in at 146 pounds and 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Fisnik Cikirikci, and the three ringside judges are Bardhyl Aliu, Bujar Hajdari and Engjell Saffet.  

Round 1: 

Bytygi steps inside.  Tahiri is on target with a sharp left uppercut.  
Tahiri lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Bytygi closes the distance.  Tahiri connects with a left hook.  
Bytygi drives a right hook into Tahiri's ribs.  Bytygi throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
Bytygi attempts to land a right hook, but Tahiri sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Bytygi throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Tahiri pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  
Tahiri lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Tahiri closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Tahiri is on target with a solid right hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Tahiri dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Tahiri digs in a left hook to Bytygi's body.  
Bytygi attempts to land a left uppercut, but Tahiri parries the shot and counters with a firm right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Bytygi steps inside.  Tahiri lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Bytygi lands a cross.  Bytygi throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Tahiri pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Bytygi is looking to close the distance.  Tahiri drives a firm left hook into his opponents body.  
Bytygi hits home with a right hook.  
Bytygi throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Tahiri lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Tahiri lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Bytygi gets on the inside.  Tahiri lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head, KNOCKING BYTYGI DOWN!  He manages to get up at 7.  Bytygi quickly recovers. 
Tahiri closes the distance.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Tahiri.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Bytygi closes the distance and lands a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Bytygi's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Bytygi's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Tahiri sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Bytygi lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Tahiri lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Tahiri lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Bytygi lands a left uppercut.  
Bytygi steps inside.  Tahiri lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Bytygi attempts to land a right hook, but Tahiri dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Tahiri lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Bytygi steps inside.  Tahiri lands a left hook.  
Bytygi advances into close range.  Tahiri lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Bytygi hits home with a left hook.  
Bytygi attempts to land a jab, but Tahiri blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Tahiri manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Tahiri lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Tahiri attempts to land a right hook, but Bytygi blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Tahiri pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Tahiri tries to land a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Bytygi hits home with a left hook.  
Tahiri lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Tahiri lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Bytygi closes the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Tahiri lands a stinging left hook.  
Tahiri hits home with a left hook.  Tahiri throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Tahiri lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Some sustained pressure from Tahiri could be enough to finish Bytygi!  Tahiri EXPLODES a HUGE right uppercut into his opponents face.  BYTYGI IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 8.  Bytygi now seems to have his senses back.  
Bytygi gets on the inside.  Tahiri lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Bytygi is looking to close the distance and connects with a left hook.  
Tahiri feints a right hook, and then connects with a nasty cross.  BYTYGI IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Bytygi's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Bytygi's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Tahiri walks Bytygi onto the ropes.  Tahiri senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Bytygi and just needs the right shot.  Tahiri connects with a nasty left hook.  BYTYGI IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 6.  
Bytygi advances into close range.  Tahiri lands a left uppercut, left hook and a cross to his opponents head, DROPPING BYTYGI TO THE CANVAS!  The count reaches 10, but Bytygi is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Tahiri!
