Dumisani Mpeta vs Ontibile Sam

Boxing Daily Report from the Don Sinclair promoted show at Mitchells Plain Kanku, Mitchells Plain,  taking place on 07/04/2031:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the South Africa-Western Cape Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dumisani Mpeta (21(8) - 10 - 1) who hails from Cape Town, South Africa and Ontibile Sam(9 - 17(1) - 4) from Cape Town, South Africa.  Both Mpeta and Sam weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rob Ndombe, and the three ringside judges are Lee Katanda, Bongi Rantie and Xhosas Serero.  

Round 1: 

Mpeta is looking to close the distance.  Sam throws a left hook, but Mpeta clinches his opponent.  Sam pushes his forearm into Mpeta's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
