Faisal Abid vs Haaris Alomari

Boxing Daily Report from the UAE Boxing promoted show at DSC Multi-Purpose Stadium, Dubai,  taking place on 24/05/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Middle East Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Al Jazeera Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Faisal Abid (36(25) - 10(7)) who hails from Alexandria, Egypt and Haaris Alomari(20 - 14(6) - 1) from Dubai, UAE.  Both Abid and Alomari weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Waqas Rahaim, and the three ringside judges are Waleed Yacoub, Obaid Elshennawi and Gazi Maalouf.
