Mark Purves vs Glynn Perry

Boxing Daily Report from the Mandale Boxing Promotions promoted show at Melbourne Coslett, Melbourne,  taking place on 13/04/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Victoria Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Purves (13 - 6) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Glynn Perry(13 - 4 - 6) from Melbourne, Australia.  Purves weighed in at 153 pounds And 9 ounces, while Perry weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leighton McPherson, and the three ringside judges are Paul Elmasyan, John Kissick and Oliver Starratt.  

Round 1: 

Purves attempts to land a cross, but Perry blocks the shot and counters with a cross.
