Dax Calmat vs Anicetus Jacques

Boxing Daily Report from the African Boxing promoted show at Denis de Portzamparc Gym, Yaoundé,  taking place on 15/04/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cameroon-Centre Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dax Calmat (15(1) - 15 - 4) who hails from Yaoundé, Cameroon and Anicetus Jacques(16 - 5(1)) from Yaoundé, Cameroon.  Both Calmat and Jacques weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fabron Baudhuin, and the three ringside judges are Marin Mbuta, Leggett Oliphant and Quincy de Musset.  

Round 1: 

Jacques closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.
