Alen Pierce vs Haaris Diab

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at UIC Pavilion, Chicago,  taking place on 21/06/2031:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alen Pierce (31(17) - 1(1)) who hails from Long Beach, USA and Haaris Diab(32(11) - 10 - 2) from Birmingham, UK.  Both Pierce and Diab weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lucas McGowan, and the three ringside judges are John Oman, Matt Preddy and Lewis Williams.  

Round 1:

It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Diab.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
