John Boakye vs Shaun Appiah

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Northern Ghana promoted show at Sammy Rahman Gym, Tamale,  taking place on 19/04/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Northern Ghana Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Boakye (6 - 12 - 5) who hails from Tamale, Ghana and Shaun Appiah(3 - 3(1)) from Tamale, Ghana.  Both Boakye and Appiah weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rich Burja, and the three ringside judges are Robert Eck, Antwan Asamoah and Sam Adabor.  

Round 1: 

Boakye throws a left hook, but Appiah clinches his opponent.  Appiah is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
