Kong Ning vs Haaris Shahi

Boxing Daily Report from the Nzala Promotions promoted show at Isfahan Zhen, Isfahan,  taking place on 21/04/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Iran-Isfahan Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kong Ning (23(10) - 16(14)) who hails from Isfahan, Iran and Haaris Shahi(13 - 13(1) - 4) from Isfahan, Iran.  Both Ning and Shahi weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rashid Salim, and the three ringside judges are Lochan Venkatesh, Rehan Siddiqui and Amer Mahdavi.  

Round 1: 

Ning quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Ning digs in a sharp left uppercut to Shahi's liver.  
Ning pivots to the side of his opponent.  Ning is on target with a right hook to Shahi's body.  Ning tries to land a left hook, but Shahi parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Ning lands a cross.  
Ning advances into close range.  Shahi throws a left hook, but Ning holds on to his opponent.  Ning is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Ning to stop fouling.  
Shahi steps to the outside and attempts to land a cross, but Ning sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Ning steps inside and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Ning lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Ning clinches his opponent.  Ning tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Shahi's kidney. 
Ning steps inside.  Shahi throws a left hook, but Ning holds on to his opponent.  Ning leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ning lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Ning drives a firm left hook into Shahi's body.  
Shahi throws a left uppercut, but Ning holds on to his opponent.  Ning leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Ning's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ning feints a left, and then is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Ning gets on the inside and connects with a sharp right uppercut.  
Ning lands with a stinging jab.  
Ning is looking to close the distance and digs in a firm right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Shahi pivots to the side of his opponent.  Shahi throws a left uppercut, but Ning holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Ning pushes his forearm into Shahi's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Ning.  
Ning lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Ning walks Shahi down, trapping him in the corner.  Shahi throws a right hook, but Ning clinches his opponent.  Ning uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Shahi's kidney. The ref breaks Ning's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ning lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Ning ties up his opponent.  Ning throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Shahi tries to step out of his opponents range and attempts to land a cross, but Ning sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Shahi pivots to the left of his opponent.  Shahi throws a left hook, but Ning ties up his opponent.  Ning leans on his opponent using all his weight. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Ning to stop holding.  
Shahi pivots to the right of his opponent.  Ning lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Shahi is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Ning quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with an overhand left.  
Ning gets on the inside and manages to force Shahi into the corner.  Ning lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Ning lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Ning lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Shahi quickly recovers. 
Ning lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Ning connects with a firm right hook.  
Ning digs in a right hook to Shahi's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Shahi's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Shahi's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Shahi's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Ning lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Shahi recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Ning connects with a right hook.  
Shahi pivots from in front of his opponent.  Ning lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Ning lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Ning pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a firm right hook into his opponents body.  
Shahi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Ning is on target with a left hook to Shahi's body.  
Ning is on target with a sharp left hook to Shahi's liver.  
Shahi pivots from in front of his opponent.  Ning is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.

Ning manouvers Shahi into the corner.  Ning lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND SHAHI IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  Shahi recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Ning digs in a powerful right hook to his opponents body.  DOWN GOES SHAHI!  He manages to get up at 7.  
Ning is on target with a left hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ning dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Ning is on target with a sharp left hook to Shahi's ribs.  
Ning lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!

Ning lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Shahi almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Ning lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Ning throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Ning lands a right uppercut.  
Ning closes the distance and lands a right hook, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Ning lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Ning lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Ning is looking to force the stoppage!  Ning lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND SHAHI IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  It looks like Shahi has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS SHAHI TO THE CANVAS!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Ning!
