Peter Harp vs Sammy Roland

Boxing Daily Report from the Muli Bar promoted show at Sydney Kaakajian, Sydney,  taking place on 23/04/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Peter Harp (13(9) - 0 - 1) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Sammy Roland(1 - 2 - 1) from Brisbane, Australia.  Both Harp and Roland weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Mona, and the three ringside judges are Dom Clapperton, Rob Lyle and Mark Innes.  

Round 1: 

Harp connects with a stinging right hook.  
Harp gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Harp ties up his opponent.  Harp pushes his forearm into Roland's face.  The referee warns Harp and breaks the clinch.  Harp attempts to land a left hook, but Roland dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Roland tries to land a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Harp advances into close range.  Harp sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Roland throws a right hook, but Harp holds on to his opponent.  Harp is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Harp pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a solid left uppercut.  
Harp is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Harp pivots to the right of his opponent.  Roland finds the target with a jab.  
Harp lands a firm left hook.  
Harp advances into close range and lands a left hook.  
Harp closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Harp ties up his opponent.  Harp is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Harp digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Harp lands two right hooks followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Harp lands a sharp jab.  
Roland closes the distance and walks Harp onto the ropes.  Harp drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  Harp attempts to land a left hook, but Roland blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Harp lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Roland tries to land a left hook, but Harp blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Harp steps inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS ROLAND TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Harp knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Harp lands a right uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  It looks like Roland has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Harp lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Harp lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Harp hits home with a telling left hook.  ROLAND IS HURT!  Roland almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Harp connects with a cross.  
Harp closes the distance and lands two left hook's to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Roland's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Roland's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Harp sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits the target with a solid jab.  
Harp steps inside and is on target with a firm left uppercut to Roland's liver.  
Harp hits home with a left hook.  
Harp steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Harp connects with a solid left hook.  
Roland sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Roland throws a right uppercut, but Harp ties up his opponent.  Harp uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Roland's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Harp about fouling.  
Harp forces Roland to back into the ropes.  Harp connects with a firm left uppercut.  
Roland walks Harp down, trapping him on the ropes.  Harp lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Harp steps inside.  Harp pivots to the side of his opponent and DETONATES a CRUSHING right uppercut on his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE ROLAND WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Harp is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Harp lands a cross to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head, AND SENDS ROLAND SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Harp!
