Shamus Myres vs Gabriele Venegoni

Boxing Daily Report from the Ssali Promotions promoted show at The Albert Halls, Blackpool,  taking place on 15/05/2031:

Clearly Ssali Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Shamus Myres (18(11) - 0 - 1) who hails from Belfast, UK and Gabriele Venegoni(22 - 4) from Modena, Italy.  Myres weighed in at 244 pounds And 11 ounces, while Venegoni weighed in at 217 pounds And 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Chris McReynolds, and the three ringside judges are Lloyd Lochridge, Ronald McAlinden and Chris Murphy.  

Round 1:

Venegoni sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Myres advances into close range and lands a right uppercut followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents head, AND SENDS VENEGONI SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  Venegoni recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Venegoni lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Myres is looking to close the distance.  Myres quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a firm left hook into Venegoni's body.
