Vegas Gomez vs Ricardo Gregorio

Boxing Daily Report from the Monare Promotions promoted show at Managua Provencio, Managua,  taking place on 26/04/2031:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nicaragua-Managua Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vegas Gomez (9 - 12(2) - 1) who hails from Managua, Nicaragua and Ricardo Gregorio(8 - 1) from Managua, Nicaragua.  Both Gomez and Gregorio weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Albarran, and the three ringside judges are Hilario Lopez, Aimon Cortinas and Salvador Oyola.  

Round 1: 

Gregorio drives a left uppercut into Gomez's body.  
Gregorio forces Gomez to back into a corner.  Gregorio lands a right uppercut.  
Gregorio is on target with a left hook.
