Richard Peraniko vs Eteka Kahu

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Ian Salmond Gym, Christchurch,  taking place on 26/04/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Canterbury Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Richard Peraniko (9 - 13 - 4) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Eteka Kahu(14 - 12) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Peraniko weighed in at 134 pounds and 13 ounces, while Kahu weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ewan Roxburgh, and the three ringside judges are Dave Sprouse, Alen Nist and Noel Haxton.
