Steven Lalama vs Sam Handyside

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Hammerstein Ballroom, New York City,  taking place on 09/05/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Steven Lalama (29(5) - 1) who hails from Arlington, USA and Smooth Sam Handyside(29 - 4(1)) from Providence, USA.  Lalama weighed in at 217 pounds, while Handyside weighed in at 248 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Colin Starratt, and the three ringside judges are Mel Giorgetti, Cody Craighead and Michael Perry.  

Round 1: 

Handyside steps to the outside.  Lalama quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.
