Desiderio Casados vs Desiderio Tamez

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Santiago de Cuba Beltran, Santiago de Cuba,  taking place on 02/05/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Cuba-Santiago de Cuba Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Desiderio Casados (15(9) - 0) who hails from Santiago de Cuba, Cuba and Desiderio Tamez(18 - 10 - 5) from Santiago de Cuba, Cuba.  Casados weighed in at 167 pounds and 14 ounces, while Tamez weighed in at 167 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Pancho Mallen, and the three ringside judges are Ramiro Aleman, Santiago Baxa and Vicente Yanez.
