Boxing Daily Report from the Phala Promotions promoted show at Adelaide Moran, Adelaide,  taking place on 13/05/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Australia-Victoria Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Wiley (10 - 6 - 2) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Spencer Gowen(16 - 16 - 2) from Melbourne, Australia.  Wiley weighed in at 153 pounds, while Gowen weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bradley Hammill, and the three ringside judges are Jordan McCook, Rob Lyle and Bart Connor.

Gowen gets on the inside.  Wiley connects with a right hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Wiley has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
