Mel Fowlie vs Bob Ridpath

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Texas promoted show at Fairmont Hotel, Dallas,  taking place on 02/05/2031:

Clearly AI USA-Texas have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-SouthWest Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mel Fowlie (12 - 11(1) - 4) who hails from Mesa, USA and Bob Ridpath(18 - 8 - 1) from Dallas, USA.  Both Fowlie and Ridpath weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Kernell, and the three ringside judges are Justin Clogston, Nick Davis and Tariq Arif.  

Round 1: 

Fowlie is looking to keep his distance.  Ridpath lands a cross.
