Jay Morrice vs John McRay

Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at Magness Arena, Denver,  taking place on 24/05/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jay Morrice (19 - 3(1)) who hails from Lowell, USA and John McRay(19 - 2 - 2) from Doncaster, UK.  Both Morrice and McRay weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Seff, and the three ringside judges are Bart Sundy, Gregor Alexander and Tobias Colquhoun.  

Round 1: 

Morrice connects with an overhand left.  
Morrice is looking to keep his distance.  McRay drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Morrice lands an overhand right followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.

That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
