Xhosas Chongwe vs Banji Masiye

Boxing Daily Report from the Sangweni Promotions promoted show at Lusaka Musauta, Lusaka,  taking place on 03/05/2031:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Zambia-Lusaka Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xhosas Chongwe (22 - 6 - 4) who hails from Lusaka, Zambia and Banji Masiye(7 - 7(1) - 5) from Lusaka, Zambia.  Chongwe weighed in at 107 pounds and 7 ounces, while Masiye weighed in at 107 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Lakista Jumbo, and the three ringside judges are Rich Kabaghe, Shontae Machona and Mashawn Luo.  

Round 1: 

Chongwe lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  Chongwe clinches his opponent.  Chongwe pushes his forearm into Masiye's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Chongwe about fouling.  
Masiye throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.
