Gabriel Balik vs Francisco Rosalez

Boxing Daily Report from the JDHawks Gym promoted show at Tirana Olympic Park, Tirana,  taking place on 27/06/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Gabriel Balik (9(6) - 0) who hails from Vilnius, Lithuania and Francisco Rosalez(9 - 5 - 8) from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic.  Balik weighed in at 146 pounds and 15 ounces, while Rosalez weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Agron Gurler, and the three ringside judges are Burim Prela, Fatmir Kapllani and Ermir Erez.  

Round 1: 

Balik is looking to close the distance.  Balik sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Rosalez throws a right uppercut, but Balik clinches his opponent.  Balik is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Balik is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Rosalez lands a cross.  Rosalez attempts to land a jab, but Balik blocks the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Balik is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Rosalez throws a right uppercut, but Balik holds on to his opponent.  Balik is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Balik to stop fouling.

Balik advances into close range and is on target with a solid right hook.  Balik holds on to his opponent.  Balik tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Rosalez behind the head. The ref breaks Balik's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Balik lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Balik lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Balik lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Balik is on target with a left hook to Rosalez's ribs.

Rosalez is looking to keep his distance and attempts to land a jab, but Balik sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.

Balik wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Rosalez dabs at his face checking for damage.

Balik throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Rosalez's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Balik lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Balik feints a left hook, and then drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Rosalez steps away from his opponent and tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Balik drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Balik advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He then lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Balik hits the target with a stinging jab.  
Rosalez manages to force Balik onto the ropes.  Balik lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Rosalez recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

The right shot from Balik could be enough to force the stoppage!  Balik lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND ROSALEZ IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Balik!
