Ramid Aldjanov vs Jalil Begum

Boxing Daily Report from the Njoroge Promotions promoted show at Baku Irani, Baku,  taking place on 13/04/2031:

Clearly Njoroge Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Azerbaijan-Absheron Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ramid Aldjanov (7 - 11(2) - 5) who hails from Sumqayit, Azerbaijan and Jalil Begum(5 - 5 - 1) from Baku, Azerbaijan.  Both Aldjanov and Begum weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alesger Aslanov, and the three ringside judges are Bashir Amirbeyov, Nariman Jafri and Nariman Jafri.  

Round 1: 

Begum steps inside and hits home with a left hook.  
Aldjanov pivots to the right of his opponent.  Begum tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Aldjanov dabs at his face checking for damage.  Aldjanov has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
