Yesayi Taldabanian vs Vahe Nargizyan

Boxing Daily Report from the Ahmed Ahmeti promoted show at Yerevan Garabedian, Yerevan,  taking place on 15/05/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Armenia Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Armenia TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Yesayi Taldabanian (12(8) - 1) who hails from Yerevan, Armenia and Vahe Nargizyan(13(1) - 6 - 1) from Yerevan, Armenia.  Taldabanian weighed in at 154 pounds, while Nargizyan weighed in at 153 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arayig Baboghlyan, and the three ringside judges are Mgrdich Inguilizyan, Minas Fusdigian and Kalusd Frankian.  

Round 1: 

Taldabanian closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Taldabanian sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Nargizyan lands a ramrod jab.  
Taldabanian is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He then lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Nargizyan is looking to close the distance.  Taldabanian lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Nargizyan connects with a left hook.  
Taldabanian lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Nargizyan lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Taldabanian lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Taldabanian digs in a firm left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Taldabanian quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Nargizyan throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Nargizyan lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Taldabanian lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Taldabanian pivots from in front of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Taldabanian is looking to close the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Taldabanian lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Nargizyan steps inside.  Taldabanian lands a firm right uppercut.  
Taldabanian drives a left uppercut into Nargizyan's body.  
Taldabanian is looking to close the distance and is on target with a solid left hook to Nargizyan's ribs.  
Taldabanian pivots to the side of his opponent.  Nargizyan lands a right hook.  Nargizyan attempts to land a left uppercut, but Taldabanian sidesteps and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Taldabanian pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Taldabanian walks his opponent into a neutral corner.  The right shot from Taldabanian could be enough to force the stoppage!  Taldabanian lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS NARGIZYAN DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Taldabanian lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS NARGIZYAN TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  It looks like Nargizyan has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Nargizyan's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Nargizyan's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Taldabanian digs in a sharp left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Taldabanian lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Taldabanian gets on the inside.  Taldabanian sidesteps to the right of his opponent and slams a mean left hook into his opponents body.  NARGIZYAN IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Taldabanian steps away from his opponent.  Nargizyan throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut to Nargizyan's ribs.  
Taldabanian manouvers Nargizyan onto the ropes.  Taldabanian lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, DROPPING NARGIZYAN TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Nargizyan snaps his opponents head back with a solid jab.  Nargizyan tries to land a cross, but Taldabanian dodges the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  NARGIZYAN IS HURT!  Nargizyan quickly recovers. 
Nargizyan is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Taldabanian lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Nargizyan almost instantly recovers. 
Taldabanian is looking to keep his distance.  Nargizyan sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Taldabanian lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Taldabanian is looking to close the distance.  Taldabanian knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Taldabanian lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a cross to his opponents head, AND SENDS NARGIZYAN TO THE CANVAS!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Taldabanian!
