Danny Baker vs Sam Glenny

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Colorado promoted show at Greeley Nicoll, Greeley,  taking place on 13/05/2031:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Mountain West Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Danny Baker (21(2) - 10(4)) who hails from Salt Lake City, USA and Sam Glenny(9 - 12 - 2) from Denver, USA.  Both Baker and Glenny weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Picard, and the three ringside judges are Mark Mostyn, Noah Keys and Rich Bayne.  

Round 1: 

Baker is looking to close the distance.  Glenny hits home with a right uppercut.  
Baker attempts to land a cross, but Glenny sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Glenny manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Baker is on target with a cross.  
Baker connects with a cross.  
Baker hits home with a cross.  
Baker gets on the inside and drives a left hook into Glenny's liver.  
Glenny sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Baker digs in a left hook to Glenny's liver.  
Glenny lands a jab.  
Baker steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Baker lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Baker sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Glenny throws a left uppercut, but Baker holds on to his opponent.  Baker pushes his forearm into Glenny's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Baker about fouling.  
Baker lands a right hook.  
Baker quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Baker manouvers Glenny into a corner.  Baker lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Baker pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a right hook to Glenny's ribcage.  
Glenny lands a left uppercut.  
Baker gets on the inside.  Baker lands a left hook.  Glenny wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Baker.  That has caused a cut in the corner of the right eye.  .  
Baker gets on the inside and attempts to land a left hook, but Glenny sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Baker lands with a stinging jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Glenny's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Glenny's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Glenny's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
