Boswell Ndika vs Phillippe Marceau

Boxing Daily Report from the African Boxing promoted show at Leggett Kwetche Gym, Yaoundé,  taking place on 16/05/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cameroon-Centre Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Boswell Ndika (9 - 4 - 1) who hails from Yaoundé, Cameroon and Phillippe Marceau(12 - 7(2) - 1) from Yaoundé, Cameroon.  Both Ndika and Marceau weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Telford Dakeyo, and the three ringside judges are Fabron Baudhuin, Josce Mbongo and Vermont Mandjeck.  

Round 1: 

Marceau finds the target with a jab.  
Marceau is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Marceau steps inside.  Ndika digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Marceau advances into close range.  Ndika quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Ndika attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Marceau time to recover.
