Jevonte Mayat vs Napoleon Djan

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Dawu Sports Stadium, Accra,  taking place on 17/05/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ghana Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jevonte Mayat (22 - 9 - 2) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Napoleon Djan(9(1) - 1(1)) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Mayat weighed in at 139 pounds and 14 ounces, while Djan weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vashon Asamoah, and the three ringside judges are Shevon Adusei, Leighton Kwei and Michael Amodako.
