Dave Wanjau vs Rich Makori

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Mombasa promoted show at Mombasa Kaino, Mombasa,  taking place on 24/05/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Mombasa Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dave Wanjau (17(1) - 5) who hails from Mombasa, Kenya and Rich Makori(5 - 4 - 1) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Wanjau weighed in at 175 pounds, while Makori weighed in at 174 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is George Waciuma, and the three ringside judges are James Baldacchino, Paul Kithuka and Dembe Mutunga.  

Round 1: 

Wanjau lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.
