Boxing Daily Report from the Konga Promotions promoted show at Nairobi Kamathi, Nairobi,  taking place on 24/05/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Kenya-Nairobi Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nuru Verjee (16 - 9(1) - 1) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Steven Chepchirchir(23(1) - 4) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Verjee and Chepchirchir weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Armani Kipchoim, and the three ringside judges are Ludacris Nkaissery, Joe Mwirichia and Stuart Lone.
