Diego Naranjo vs Juan Fallas

Boxing Daily Report from the Lexington Promotions 3.0 promoted show at Caloocan Bondoc, Caloocan,  taking place on 28/04/2031:

Clearly Lexington Promotions 3.0 have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-NCR Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Naranjo (11 - 14(1) - 4) who hails from Pasig, Philippines and Juan Fallas(5 - 8 - 1) from Manila, Philippines.  Both Naranjo and Fallas weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Canwaring, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Marahan, Angel Landeros and Diego Maramba.  

Round 1: 

Naranjo pivots to the left of his opponent.  Fallas digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Naranjo switches the action to the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Fallas sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Naranjo is on target with a jab.  
Naranjo is on target with a stinging jab.  
Naranjo steps away from his opponent.  Fallas feints a cross, fooling Naranjo into throwing a right uppercut counter.  Fallas is waiting for the shot and counters with a left hook to Naranjo's body.

Fallas wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Naranjo dabs at his face checking for damage.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Fallas.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
