Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Robina Stadium, Gold Coast,  taking place on 07/06/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Asia-Oceania Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Robert The Punisher Purdie (19(15) - 1(1) - 1) who hails from North Shore, New Zealand and Ashok Kandari(18(7) - 1) from New Delhi, India.  Both Purdie and Kandari weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fraser McNabb, and the three ringside judges are Rob Gollon, Ian Corrie and Neil Pembroke.
