Dimi Cherkasov vs Sergey Mekhontsev

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Russia-Moscow Oblast promoted show at Moscow Shantyr, Moscow,  taking place on 29/04/2031:

Clearly AI Russia-Moscow Oblast have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Russia-Moscow Oblast Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dimi Cherkasov (8 - 10 - 2) who hails from Moscow, Russia and Sergey Mekhontsev(7 - 14 - 2) from Moscow, Russia.  Cherkasov weighed in at 200 pounds and 12 ounces, while Mekhontsev weighed in at 200 pounds.    As Cherkasov came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Vitali Umakhanov, and the three ringside judges are Afon Bazarevich, Kir Ulanov and Mikhail Guba.
