Chris Allen vs Johnny Braid

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-Capital Territory promoted show at Canberra Nicolaides, Canberra,  taking place on 12/06/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Allen (11(8) - 0) who hails from Adelaide, Australia and Johnny Braid(1 - 3 - 2) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both Allen and Braid weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Neil Cookston, and the three ringside judges are Noah Pierce, John Hakopyan and Neil Cookston.  

Round 1: 

Allen quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Braid tries to land a right uppercut, but Allen sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Braid advances into close range.  Allen pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Braid throws a right hook, but Allen clinches his opponent.  Allen tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Braid's kidney. Allen leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Allen's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Allen lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Allen hits home with a solid left hook.  Allen holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Allen pushes his forearm into Braid's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
