Ian Kimmons vs Michael Guilliams

Boxing Daily Report from the Kabbendjian Promotions promoted show at Henderson Barron, Henderson,  taking place on 30/05/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Nevada Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Kimmons (18(8) - 7(2)) who hails from Las Vegas, USA and Michael Guilliams(11 - 10(1) - 1) from Reno, USA.  Both Kimmons and Guilliams weighed in at 121 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Chris Cadwallader, and the three ringside judges are Ollie Latta, Mike Faulkner and Mark Hasson.  

Round 1: 

Kimmons throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Kimmons closes the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Kimmons clinches his opponent.  Kimmons is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Kimmons to stop fouling.  
Guilliams is on target with a cross.  
Kimmons gets on the inside and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Kimmons walks Guilliams down, trapping him on the ropes.  Kimmons drives a left uppercut into Guilliams's body.  
Kimmons connects with a right hook.  As Kimmons tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Guilliams has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Kimmons hits home with a sharp right hook.  
Kimmons advances into close range.  Kimmons sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Kimmons throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Kimmons ties up his opponent.  Guilliams is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Guilliams pivots to the left of his opponent.  Guilliams throws a left hook, but Kimmons holds on to his opponent.  Kimmons leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Kimmons's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Guilliams pivots to the left of his opponent.  Guilliams attempts to land a jab, but Kimmons slips the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Kimmons steps inside and hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Kimmons gets on the inside and lands a firm left hook.  
Kimmons advances into close range and digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Kimmons ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Kimmons quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Kimmons steps inside.  Kimmons quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Guilliams is looking to keep his distance and hits home with a cross.  
Kimmons closes the distance and connects with a sharp right hook.  
Kimmons lands a right hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Kimmons attempts to land a left uppercut, but Guilliams blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kimmons dabs at his face checking for damage.

Kimmons tries to land a right hook, but Guilliams blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  Guilliams almost instantly gets his legs back. 
At the end of Round 4, lets listen in on the corners...Guilliams's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Guilliams's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Kimmons closes the distance.  Guilliams pivots to the left of his opponent.  Kimmons lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Guilliams recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Kimmons lands a cross.  
Kimmons connects with a sharp left uppercut.  
Kimmons lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Guilliams quickly recovers. 
Kimmons lands a jab to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Kimmons advances into close range and DETONATES a BRUTAL right hook on his opponents face.  GUILLIAMS WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Guilliams could be stopped here, if Kimmons can find the right shot!  Kimmons connects with a MASSIVE right uppercut.  DOWN GOES GUILLIAMS!  He manages to get up at 6.  Guilliams now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.
