Peter McWhinnie vs Davie Farquhar

Boxing Daily Report from the boxeraifan promoted show at Denver Boner, Denver,  taking place on 31/05/2031:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Mountain West Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Peter McWhinnie (21(3) - 5) who hails from West Valley City, USA and Davie Farquhar(10 - 3(1) - 1) from Colorado Springs, USA.  McWhinnie weighed in at 153 pounds And 8 ounces, while Farquhar weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Sangster, and the three ringside judges are Robert Picard, Brett Calley and Paul Neave.  

Round 1: 

McWhinnie is on target with a jab.  
McWhinnie gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
McWhinnie closes the distance.  Farquhar pivots to the right of his opponent.  McWhinnie lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
McWhinnie steps inside.  McWhinnie sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Farquhar lands a left uppercut.  McWhinnie ties up his opponent.  McWhinnie pushes his forearm into Farquhar's face.  The referee warns McWhinnie and breaks the clinch.  
McWhinnie walks Farquhar into a corner.  As McWhinnie tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Farquhar dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Farquhar throws a right uppercut, but McWhinnie holds on to his opponent.  Farquhar uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits McWhinnie behind the head.
