Richie Kuan vs Saad Zia

Boxing Daily Report from the Sultan's Fists promoted show at StarXpo, Kuala Lumpur,  taking place on 28/06/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Richie Kuan (12(5) - 1(1)) who hails from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Saad Zia(18 - 7(1) - 3) from Johor Bahru, Malaysia.  Kuan weighed in at 146 pounds and 11 ounces, while Zia weighed in at 147 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ali Aslam, and the three ringside judges are Syed Kamel, Danyaal Kharoti and Amjad Ebrahimi.  

Round 1: 

Kuan closes the distance and is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Kuan steps inside.  Zia throws a left hook, but Kuan holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Kuan pushes his forearm into Zia's face.  The ref breaks Kuan's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Kuan gets on the inside and drives a sharp right hook into his opponents ribcage.  Kuan ties up his opponent.  Kuan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Kuan lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body, KNOCKING ZIA DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  Zia recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Kuan throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Kuan clinches his opponent.  Kuan pushes his forearm into Zia's face.  The referee warns Kuan and breaks the clinch.  
Zia steps to the outside.  Kuan lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Kuan is looking to close the distance and manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Kuan lands a right uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  
Kuan drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Zia sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Kuan finds the target with a jab.  
Kuan lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Kuan ties up his opponent.  Kuan tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Zia behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Kuan to stop fouling.  
Kuan hits home with a solid left uppercut.  
Kuan is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Kuan closes the distance.  Zia pivots from in front of his opponent.  Kuan lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Zia sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Kuan throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Kuan is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.  
Kuan is on target with a stinging left uppercut to Zia's body.  
Kuan advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Kuan forces Zia to back into the corner.  Kuan is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Kuan is looking to close the distance and is on target with a solid right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Kuan pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Kuan throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.

Kuan advances into close range and lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Zia recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Kuan lands a left uppercut.  
Kuan pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a right hook into Zia's body.  
Kuan sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Kuan lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Kuan ties up his opponent.  Kuan tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Zia behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Kuan.  
Kuan lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Kuan lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Kuan is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents body.  
Kuan lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Zia throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Kuan lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Kuan is on target with a stinging left hook to Zia's liver.  
Kuan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a right uppercut to Zia's body.  
Kuan walks Zia onto the ropes.  Kuan lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Kuan connects with a solid right hook.  
Kuan lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Kuan lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Kuan is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Kuan DETONATES a big left uppercut on his opponents face.  ZIA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Zia recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Kuan steps inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Zia lands a right hook.  
Kuan is looking to close the distance and whips in a mean left hook to his opponents body.  ZIA IS HURT!  Zia almost instantly recovers.

Kuan gets on the inside.  Zia pivots to the left of his opponent.  Zia throws a right hook, but Kuan holds on to his opponent.  Kuan leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Kuan walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Kuan lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS ZIA!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Kuan throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Kuan holds on to his opponent.  Kuan uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Zia behind the head. 
Kuan advances into close range.  Zia throws a right hook, but Kuan holds on to his opponent.  Kuan leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Kuan to stop holding.  
Kuan lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Kuan advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Zia recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Kuan is on target with a solid right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Zia tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.
