Paul Matombo vs John Mpofu

Boxing Daily Report from the South African Boxers promoted show at Morris Depot Police Camp, Harare,  taking place on 28/06/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Zimbabwe Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on DStv, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Paul Matombo (17 - 7 - 2) who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe and John Mpofu(17 - 2(1)) from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.  Matombo weighed in at 154 pounds and 12 ounces, while Mpofu weighed in at 153 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sammy Mukoneweshuro, and the three ringside judges are Ian Mataz, Robert Hunzvi and Dele Mutasa.
