Edmond Giraudoux vs Franske Feye

Boxing Daily Report from the Belpit Promo #5 promoted show at Stade du Pays de Charleroi, Charleroi,  taking place on 07/06/2031:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Belgium Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Belgacom TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Edmond Giraudoux (7(5) - 0) who hails from Charleroi, Belgium and Franske Feye(20(1) - 1 - 1) from Ghent, Belgium.  Both Giraudoux and Feye weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Telo Maheux, and the three ringside judges are Launcelot Eury, Page Nouvel and Reinald Jade.  

Round 1: 

Giraudoux advances into close range.  Feye pivots to the left of his opponent.  Feye digs in a right hook to Giraudoux's body.  Feye throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Giraudoux tries to land a left hook, but Feye parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Giraudoux drives a sharp left hook into Feye's liver.  
Giraudoux cuts off the ring, trapping Feye in the red corner.  Giraudoux throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Giraudoux lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Feye goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Giraudoux's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Feye tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Giraudoux closes the distance.  Feye lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Giraudoux sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Giraudoux is looking to close the distance.  Giraudoux pivots to the right of his opponent.  Giraudoux lands a sharp left hook.  Giraudoux tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Giraudoux is on target with a stinging left uppercut.  Giraudoux tries to land a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Giraudoux pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a HUGE left uppercut.  FEYE IS HURT!  
Feye tries to land a right hook, but Giraudoux slips the shot and counters with a WICKED right uppercut.  Feye now seems to have got his legs back.  
Giraudoux digs in a sharp right uppercut to Feye's ribs.  
Feye throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Feye tries to keep the action at long range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Giraudoux quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Giraudoux tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Giraudoux throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Giraudoux holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Giraudoux pushes his forearm into Feye's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Giraudoux to stop fouling.  
Giraudoux lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Giraudoux connects with a cross.  
Giraudoux advances into close range.  Feye pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to Giraudoux's body.  
Giraudoux EXPLODES a MASSIVE left hook into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE FEYE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Feye recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Giraudoux is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  Giraudoux holds on to his opponent.  Giraudoux leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Giraudoux.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Giraudoux cuts off the ring, trapping Feye in a corner.  Feye lands a left hook.  
Feye pivots to the right of his opponent.  Giraudoux lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Giraudoux is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Giraudoux walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Giraudoux hits home with a potent right hook.  FEYE WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Feye almost instantly gets his legs back.

Giraudoux walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Giraudoux digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  
Giraudoux steps inside.  Giraudoux quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Giraudoux lands a double left hook to his opponents head, AND FEYE IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Giraudoux ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Feye pushes his forearm into Giraudoux's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Feye to stop fouling.  Feye almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Giraudoux lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Giraudoux holds on to his opponent.  Giraudoux leans on his opponent using all his weight. Giraudoux uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Feye behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Giraudoux about fouling.  
Feye lands a right hook.  
Feye throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Feye lands a cross to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Feye sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Feye hits home with a hard jab.  Feye throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Feye pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a solid jab.  
Giraudoux manages to force Feye onto the ropes.  Giraudoux pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND DOWN GOES FEYE!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 8.  
It looks like Feye has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

THE REF DOES NOT EVEN BOTHER WITH THE COUNT...HE'S SEEN ENOUGH AND HAS STOPPED THE FIGHT!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Giraudoux!
