Boxing Daily Report from the Belpit Promo #5 promoted show at Stade du Pays de Charleroi, Charleroi,  taking place on 07/06/2031:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Belgacom TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mortimer Ramrod Phalle (7(5) - 0) who hails from Port-de-Paix, Haiti and Gaston Martins(8 - 15 - 2) from Ghent, Belgium.  Both Phalle and Martins weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Page Nouvel, and the three ringside judges are Telo Maheux, Launcelot Eury and Reinald Jade.  

Round 1: 

Phalle lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Phalle holds on to his opponent.  Phalle is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.

He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Phalle holds on to his opponent.  Phalle is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.

Phalle hits home with a stinging jab.  
Phalle gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body, AND MARTINS IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Martins tries to keep the action at long range.  Phalle senses Martins is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Phalle lands a cross to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body, AND MARTINS IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  It looks like Martins has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Phalle digs in a solid right hook to Martins's ribcage.  
Phalle is on target with a powerful left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE MARTINS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Phalle holds on to his opponent.  Phalle leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Phalle tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Martins's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Phalle about fouling.  Martins recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Phalle is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Phalle lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a cross to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body, AND MARTINS IS KNOCKED DOWN!  The ref immediately waves off the fight...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Phalle!
