Paco Zaragoza vs Paul Merricks

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Aviator Court, New York City,  taking place on 20/06/2031:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paco Zaragoza (12(7) - 0 - 1(NC)) who hails from Carolina, Puerto Rico and Paul Merricks(13 - 15(2) - 4) from Charlotte, USA.  Zaragoza weighed in at 135 pounds, while Merricks weighed in at 134 pounds And 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Darryl Shand, and the three ringside judges are Peter Healey, Mark Protheroe and Mike Robb.

Zaragoza gets on the inside and drives a left hook into Merricks's body.

Zaragoza steps inside and digs in a telling right hook to Merricks's ribcage.  MERRICKS IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Zaragoza lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND MERRICKS IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 7.  
Zaragoza is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Zaragoza lands a right uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body, KNOCKING MERRICKS DOWN!  The ref immediately waves off the fight...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Zaragoza!
