Mark Troop vs Chris Haning

Boxing Daily Report from the GAT Management promoted show at GAT Gym, Gaineau,  taking place on 27/05/2031:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Mark Troop (5 - 0) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Chris Haning(6 - 2 - 3) from Ottawa, Canada.  Troop weighed in at 140 pounds, while Haning weighed in at 139 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Oscar Galloway, and the three ringside judges are Bruce Hathorne, Briant Sarraute and Phil Pearce.  

Round 1: 

Troop is looking to close the distance.  Haning wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Troop dabs at his face checking for damage.
