Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-Queensland promoted show at Brisbane Linn, Brisbane,  taking place on 12/06/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Australia-Queensland Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Usher (7(4) - 0) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Mark Copland(8 - 8(1) - 2) from Brisbane, Australia.  Both Usher and Copland weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rich James, and the three ringside judges are Brendan Moultrie, Ewan Duffy and Corey Pait.

Usher advances into close range and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.

Usher lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head.  Usher ties up his opponent.  Usher leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Usher throws a right uppercut, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Usher clinches his opponent.  Usher leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Usher connects with a mean right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE COPLAND WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Usher sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Usher lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS COPLAND!  He manages to get up at 7.

Copland throws a left hook, but Usher holds on to his opponent.  Usher leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Usher advances into close range and lands a stinging right hook.  
Usher quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Usher lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Usher ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Usher pushes his forearm into Copland's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Usher about fouling.  
Usher manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Usher drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Usher lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Usher lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Usher lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.

Usher connects with a nasty left hook.  COPLAND HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 9.  However, the ref is not convinced Copland is fit to continue. He waves off the fight!  The winner by TKO is Usher!
