Mark McCardell vs Neil Cooper

Boxing Daily Report from the Braveheart promoted show at Ken Argall Gym, Glasgow,  taking place on 15/05/2031:

Clearly Braveheart have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Scotland Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark McCardell (11 - 3 - 1) who hails from Glasgow, UK and Neil Cooper(6 - 4 - 3) from Edinburgh, UK.  Both McCardell and Cooper weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Thomas Ryan, and the three ringside judges are David McClarnon, James Matthew and Adam McCorquodale.  

Round 1: 

Cooper lands a jab.  
McCardell lands a right uppercut.  
Cooper digs in a right hook to McCardell's ribs.
