Stephen Boward vs Henry Leaper

Boxing Daily Report from the Jpretlove promoted show at Portsmouth Nevin, Portsmouth,  taking place on 15/05/2031:

Clearly Jpretlove have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Southern England Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Stephen Boward (17 - 18(4)) who hails from London, UK and Henry Leaper(15 - 17 - 3) from London, UK.  Both Boward and Leaper weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aaron Winn, and the three ringside judges are Bob Noon, Dominic Ready and Sammy Farrell.  

Round 1: 

Leaper closes the distance.  Boward connects with a left hook.  Boward ties up his opponent.  Boward tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Leaper's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  As Leaper tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Boward dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Leaper is on target with a right uppercut.  
Leaper walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Leaper quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Boward attempts to land a left hook, but Leaper sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Boward lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Leaper sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Boward connects with a left hook.  
Leaper lands a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Boward's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Boward's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Leaper gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Leaper lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Boward holds on to his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.
